Over the past several years, visual arts have become my third language. I continue to add to my visual vocabulary each day and even though I have much left to learn, communication comes most naturally to me in this form.
I completed my studio studies at Bishop University in Sherbrooke (Québec), where I specialized in painting. I have returned to living in my Yellowknife hometown over a year ago, and balance my art with new motherhood. Although painting still holds a special place in my heart, I am currently exploring the limits of collage as well as finding joy in stained glass, a new medium to me. I am fortunate to be an artist in the north, a place that appreciates traditional arts and welcomes artistic innovation simultaneously.
