Upcoming Northern artist Brenda Penny was born in Fort St. John, British Columbia, Canada.  She followed in her mother's footsteps towards the world of art with the loving support of her father. Brenda has lived all over British Columbia but eventually ventured further North to Hay River, Northwest Territories. The beauty of the surroundings and the warmth of the people in the North captured Brenda's soul. 

Hay river has now become her permanent home. "THE DOLLS OF THE NORTH" are Brenda's interpretation of the beauty that continues to cross her path in the North.  "WHERE THE SURROUNDING NORTHERN BEAUTY CAPTURES US WITHIN".
