 I have been a self -taught artist for the past 21 years, first drawing and painting and now carving. Art was my passion in school.

Much of my artwork depicts the landscape and wildlife around the Great Bear Lake in the Northwest Territories, where I was born and raised.

When painting I use very fine detail to portray wildlife in its natural habitat. I believe that my exposure to the traditional Dene way of life has given me the knowledge and understanding of nature, and I try to portray this through my artwork.
