Lindsay Debassige is a Two-Spirit M'Chigeeng Anishinabek person born and raised in Sǫ̀mba K'è , Denendeh. Lindsay is a multidisciplinary artist, educator, and facilitator for many Northern Initiatives. Her passion for the arts began very early, and she sought any opportunity to create regardless of the mediums. Due to this instinctual need to express her creativity, Lindsay has found creation through many arts avenues. Lindsay is passionate about building ethical, anti-racist, decolonial spaces and empowering First Nations, Inuit and Metis peoples of Denendeh to reclaim their culture, traditions, language, and identity. #LANDBACK
