My Name is Agnes Francis, I am a Gwich'in sewer from Fort McPherson. I take pride in practicing my traditions and culture and passing it down to my children and grandchildren. I've been sewing since I was a little girl to continue on the legacy my mom left with me. I sew just about anything and everything from phone holders and cases, slippers, Mukluks's, jackets, vests, jewelry, mitts, gloves, parkas, grad stohls, hats, ties, dresses, etc. I love beading as it calms my soul and I love making others happy by making thier vision of a piece of art come alive through my hand and skill of beading and sewing.
