Biographie de l'artiste:

I began beading zigzag necklaces and loom patterns at age 6 while incarcerated in the hostel. The nuns taught me. I took a long hiatus and returned to it later in life. My beading has evolved, and I specialize in beading sculpted earrings with delica beads. The sound of delicas clicking into place is extremely satisfying. I also began doing leatherwork in 2018, mainly with vegetable tanned leather which I often dye and always hand sew for strength. Besides, I don’t own a sewing machine, but I have hands. I create bifold wallets, card wallets, change pouches, passport cases, scissor cases, keychains, mousepads, koozies for canned beverages, water bottle holders that attach to belts, axe sheaths to protect the blade, frying pan handle holder/covers, cable holders for electronic gadgets, leather earrings, belts, ukulele carrying straps, valet tray to hold keys, watch, phone, wallet... Really, the sky’s the limit what you can do with leather. And I’m loving it!
