As a member if the Dogrib First Nation, Archie considers his art a continuation of his aboriginal culture, passed down to him by his grandmother. In his distinctive abstract style he depicts northern wildlife and Dene legends. His work has been shown worldwide at numerous shows and exhibits and can be founding the collections of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and Pope John Paul II. Archie has become one of the best known Dene artists.
