Mary Ellen Piche was born in Fort Smith, Northwest Territories.  She has been sewing Traditional Arts and Fine Crafts for nearly 14 years.

Mary Ellen comes from a large Metis family and is a self-taught artist using Traditional Materials and Supplies to create her pieces.
