Artist Bio

Mary Adele learned to create traditional art from her parents, grandparents and elders in her community.

She has been creating art for 40 years and in efforts to hold onto what she was taught and keep it alive, she helps teach the techniques to her kids, relatives, friends and anyone else who is interested.

Mary Adele works with moosehide and stroud materials, sews by hand and with a machine and prides herself on creating professional items that are neat and tidy.
