Mary Jane Francis is a member of the Yellowknives Dene First Nation. She has been sewing from the time she was a young girl. Her connection to her culture, heritage and the land inspires her to create and share her traditional knowledge. Mary Jane enjoys sewing traditional clothing for her family and for other people who ask her to create for them, but that's okay because she loves doing it.
