I'm a copper inuk originally from kugluktuk nunavut and residents of yellowknife for 10 years .I lost all my sentimental values ( traditional clothing & pattern)in a house fire 2023 and everything.with the help of the community/ family and friends I was able to gather some sewing supplies, traditional pattern. Mostly from memory I was able to make some similar to what was passed on by my mom and grandmother. I'm inspired by saving our culture and love to teach and help .hopefully one day I will expand my knowledge experience and share more traditional values. As it's very important.
