Growing up in Tuktoyaktuk I'd watch carvers, Amos Cockney, Phillip Raymond, Jimmy Jacobson, on way my to school  and they'd send me when i stayed too long. 

Carving has always been an interest, i completed a 5 day workshop learning to make Ulu's with the late Rory Voudrach in 2023 and i have continued to do so.
