Artist Story
Music has been part of my life for almost 16 years, but my connection with it began long before I understood where it might take me. Growing up surrounded by Punjabi culture, I was drawn to the way a song could carry emotion, preserve a memory, and express what people sometimes struggle to put into words.
I began my journey as a singer and gradually explored every side of the creative process. I started writing lyrics, composing melodies, producing music, and eventually established my own record label. Over the years, I have worked with recognized artists and experienced creative teams in the Punjabi music industry. Together, we have created thoughtfully planned songs and professional, large-scale music videos that have reached millions of listeners and viewers across YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, and other platforms.
I came to Canada at the beginning of 2014. I first lived in Surrey and Vancouver, where I continued developing my music and building connections within the Punjabi community. In 2023, I moved to Yellowknife, beginning a new chapter in both my personal life and artistic journey.
Behind every achievement has been a long process of learning, patience, collaboration, and persistence. Music has taught me how to transform personal experiences into stories that others can relate to. Whether I am singing, writing, composing, or producing, I try to create work that feels honest and emotionally meaningful.
Living in the Northwest Territories has introduced me to a different landscape, community, and way of life. I want to remain connected to my Punjabi roots while allowing my experiences in the North to influence my music in new ways. My goal is to continue growing as an artist, collaborate with people from different backgrounds, and create work that helps bring cultures and communities together.
For me, music has never been only about recognition. It is how I understand my experiences, share a part of who I am, and create something that may stay with another person long after the song has ended.

Sukh Kairon is a Punjabi singer, lyricist, composer, music producer, and record-label owner with nearly 16 years of experience in the music industry. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with recognized Punjabi artists and contributed to professionally produced music and large-scale video projects alongside experienced creative teams.
His work has reached millions of listeners and viewers across platforms including YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, and SoundCloud. From songwriting and composition to production and visual storytelling, Sukh brings a thoughtful, hands-on approach to every stage of the creative process.
Now based in the Northwest Territories, he continues to create music rooted in Punjabi culture while exploring new stories, sounds, and artistic connections within his community.
