The Great Northern Arts Society holds two main events throughout the year that offer opportunity for northern artists to show and sell their arts and crafts.

The Inuvik Youth Centre Society was born in 1996 as a result of a grassroots initiative to meet the needs of the youth of Inuvik. The initiative itself originated with an informal survey of Inuvik youth between the ages of thirteen and nineteen.

Our family has been in business for over 30 years in Inuvik, NT.  Recognizing the need for sewing products, I started out selling beads and fabric out of my home around 2012.  Within 6 months, I moved to a store front location on main street…

I opened business in 2021, and have been successful in selling my crafts. I have been quite busy within the last 2 years, producing crafts and using my creativity to sew in style crafts.

Tusaayaksat, meaning “stories that need to be heard” in Inuvialuktun, is a publication that has told the stories of Inuvialuit (Western Arctic Inuit) and served Inuvialuit Beneficiaries for more than 40 years.
